S\u00e4ngerin Ilka Groenewold<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Now the charming Hamburg native is following her passion and conquering the world of pop music. Ilka’s first single “Unikat” was released in November – written by Markus Norwin Rummel (producer of Howard Carpendale, Kerstin Ott, Maite Kelly, Ben Zucker and many more) and Bobby Wroblewski (pop musician). The bundle of energy’s second single “Wir leben hoch” will be released on 1 March 2024. The song will be released by Universal Music Group (UMG)<\/strong> and FiestaRecordsMusic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sometimes dreamy, sometimes full of energy – that’s how Ilka’s voice can be described. The rousing chorus turns the song into a pop anthem and conveys Ilka’s attitude to life of joy and fun. And the song inspires: on 19 April 2024, Ilka entered the German airplay charts<\/strong> at number 82<\/strong> with “Wir leben hoch”. In the 7th week, the song climbed further up to number 40<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ilka is a full-blooded entertainer and has not only been on stage musically since today. Even as a child, the native of East Frisia performed on stage throughout Germany with the children’s band “Elli und die T\u00fcten” and appeared in programmes such as “Schlagerclub mit Frank”. As a teenager, Ilka was one of the youngest dance teachers in Germany and celebrated successes at dance championships in video clip dancing. She hosted the McClip show on the music channel VIVA<\/strong> and performed with DJ Bobo<\/strong> on his tour in Bremerhaven as a singer and dancer. A short time later, she was given the leading role in the sitcom “Wilde Jungs” on Pro7. In order to combine dancing, singing, presenting and acting, Ilka studied musical theatre in Hamburg after graduating from high school and still lives all elements of her training today.<\/p>\n

Ilka has been working as a presenter for various TV and event formats since 2001. Ilka can look back on over 3,500 event moderations in the last 22 years and regularly works as a sports trainer on board Hapag Lloyd and AIDA. In 2012, she was named Runner of the Year by the DLV, won the Cuxhaven Marathon in 2018 and was the first woman (W30 category) to finish the 100-kilometre race in Biel in 2017. In 2020, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy honoured her with the title “Role Model Entrepreneur”. In the same year, Ilka published her 1st book “Empowerment – Wegweiser in ein erf\u00fclltes Leben”. 2021 her 2nd book “Erfolgskompass – deine Reise zum Erfolg”, which stayed at number 8 on the Amazon bestseller lists for weeks. In 2021, Ilka won the “Red Fox Award” and the “German Business Award” and was honoured as “Digitaler Ort Niedersachsen” in 2022. In the same year, Ilka presented the news on Hamburg 1.
